Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information XGenius Apps, LLC (“XGenius Apps,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at xgeniusapps.com and to our products, including Electric Genius, Storage Genius, and Greenroom.
Who we are
XGenius Apps, LLC is a product studio that builds and operates software products. Each product has its own user-facing experience, but all are operated by the same legal entity and share the practices described here unless a product's own terms or policy state otherwise.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you provide directly. Account details (name, email, phone number, business name, service area), payment information processed by our payment provider, and content you submit through our products (for example, customer messages, job details, or uploaded photos).
- Information from communications you route through us. When a customer contacts you via an XGenius Apps product (SMS, voice, or email), we process the content of that communication in order to respond, generate quotes, schedule jobs, and coordinate payment.
- Technical information. Basic log data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and timestamps, collected automatically when you use our website or products.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve our products.
- To process communications on your behalf — including generating AI-assisted responses, bids, and scheduling suggestions.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To send transactional messages (account notifications, confirmations, reminders, and service-related alerts).
- To provide customer support.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
AI processing
Our products use large language models to analyze messages, generate responses, and produce documents like bids and summaries. Content you route through an XGenius Apps product may be sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to produce that output. We do not use your content to train third-party models, and we do not sell it.
SMS and phone numbers
Phone numbers provided to XGenius Apps products are used only to operate the service you signed up for — sending and receiving messages, placing and receiving calls, and delivering related notifications. We do not share phone numbers or SMS content with third parties for their marketing purposes. Consent to receive SMS is not transferred between products.
You can opt out of non-essential SMS from any XGenius Apps product by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for support. For information specific to Greenroom, see our Greenroom consent page.
How we share information
We share information only in these cases:
- With service providers who operate infrastructure on our behalf — for example, our hosting provider, database, AI provider, email and SMS carriers, and payment processor. These providers are bound by contract to use information only to deliver their service to us.
- Between the parties to a communication. If a customer contacts you through one of our products, their message is shared with you (and vice versa), because that is the service.
- When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of XGenius Apps, our users, or the public.
- In connection with a business transaction (merger, acquisition, or asset sale), subject to the terms of this policy.
We do not sell personal information.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate our products, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information — including encrypted transport, access controls, and trusted infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- You can update or correct your account information at any time.
- You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
- Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.
Children
Our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date below. Material changes will be communicated through the product or by email where appropriate.
